Accessibility Statement
Chichester District Council is committed to making this website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
This accessibility statement applies to this website www.chichesterhomemove.org.uk
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings, a browser extension or third-party application
- zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate the essential parts of the website using a keyboard
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader (such as the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and/or exemptions listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is currently non-accessible for the following reasons:
Line height or spacing of text
You cannot modify the line height or spacing of text, or altering your web browser font sizes may cause text to overlap or be hidden.
This is something we are aiming to improve within the next 12 months.
A possible workaround is to use the web browser's built in "Zoom\Magnify" functionality instead as this does keep appropriate line spacing
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
The content listed below is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations:
- PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they are not essential to providing our services. Where documents are updated and new PDF documents published, we aim to meet accessibility standards.
- Online maps and mapping services provided by a third-party (such as Google Maps or Bing Maps)
